Door County Dreams
We escaped the heat and snuck away to Door County over Labor Day weekend. It was the perfect welcome to September, and another little family adventure. We stayed for a good handful of days, leaving plenty of time for daily fun and relaxing. Another trip in the books! Can’t wait to head back next year.

Summer Travel
Summertime usually means we’re packing up the car for weekend adventures around the midwest. And, this summer was no different. Janie joined in on all the busy fun, and both girls were champs on the many long car rides. We found ourselves on our first trip along Michigan’s sunset coast with my family. Beach days,…

Midsummer’s Marvels
The irony that exists when, finally, the girls are sleeping better, I suddenly cannot sleep. The restless hours, the desperately wishing to feel tired enough to doze. But alas, here I am. Downsizing & Organizing
Sometimes I catch myself getting caught up in all the work we have to do with this house. It can feel really overwhelming. Working on the basement is a huge undertaking with so many layered components. Dillon’s been pouring hours into completing the project but there were some big plumbing and electrical hang ups that…

Cozy Play & Greenery Bouquets
We wasted no time at all throwing ourselves into another house project: rewiring our entire house. A couple of months ago, we were working on the entryway. We wanted to add sconces to the wall so we started to take a look at how and where we could connect the wiring. After popping of the…

New Year Inspired & A House Rewired
January really is just an illusion for a fresh start, but I’ve certainly bought in. I always feel so refreshed and excited to begin the new year. But, there’s also a little healthy pressure to do better, be a bit more successful and hit the ground running with productivity. Assuming we can all give ourselves…
