A Baby on the Way!

We’re so excited to share that another little love is joining our family this August!

I can’t even begin to believe that in a few months we’ll be a family of four, but here we are! A happy and healthy peanut is bouncing away in my belly. After the years and years of struggle we faced to have Nora, Dillon and I were prepared for a fight to grow our family. Much to our absolute shock though, this little one decided now was the time!

We’re just so overwhelmed with gratitude right now. It feels so unbelievable, and we’re not taking a moment of this miracle for granted.

I’m nearly halfway as of writing this, and have come clear out of the fog of the first trimester which definitely took a lot out of me. All day nausea and brutal exhaustion is no joke while chasing an active toddler around. But, we did it it! All thanks to the efforts of Dill who would literally finish up work and jump into taking care of myself and Nora in any free time he had.

Our little family just feels like it’s in such a very sweet chapter. One I had dreamed about for so long but almost didn’t let myself believe could happen.

So, we’re enjoying our last months as a family of three, but we know Nora just cannot wait to be a big sister to a little boy or girl. See you in August, little one!
