Before I really let myself get into Halloween decorating, I like to first try to just add some touches of fall. Sweet little pumpkins around the house do the trick.
Nora helped me pick out a few out at the store, they’re just the perfect little size for her hands! So, we placed them throughout the house and are slowly getting into the spirit of fall.
The morning air is finally crisp. Our calendar is quickly filling up with camping trips and Halloween fun, and we’re enjoying every moment with our one year old!
For years, Dill and I always said we’d love to have a camp themed first birthday party for our future babe. “Camp Nora” was a success! A lovely little get together with our families and friends.
And while the cake smash wasn’t her favorite part, seeing her little friends and cousins definitely was. Her sweet personality comes to life whenever she’s around others, so her party was just an absolute joy.
It’s hard to believe that just about a year ago we were deep into adjusting to life with a newborn. The the days were long in the last year, but the months flew by so quickly.
We’re so very grateful for a happy and healthy girl, and we can’t wait for what the next year will bring.
