If you told me last year that this holiday season we’d be taking Christmas card pictures with our new baby girl, I would not have believed it for a minute. From the moment we found out we were expecting, we’ve been in an effortless cloud of happiness. Despite the pain and hardship this year has brought, sweet Nora has been the reminder that hope and happiness remain.
I prayed for years that we would never spend another Christmas season heart broken with the heavy burden of infertility. And here I am, having sent out holiday cards with our miracle baby. We are so deeply reminded that this season is about hope above anything else, and our girl is hope. She is light and joy and everything good about this world.
As we enter the new year, I have one big goal- to honor this precious gift of family that we’ve been blessed with. So I’m grabbing the camera and snagging photos and videos whenever I can because we’re so lucky to live in a time when capturing memories is so easy.
I kicked off that goal with New Years Eve. We celebrated four years of marriage and reflected on the last year together. We toasted to 2021, danced with our girl, and let our hearts get excited about another year to come. It wasn’t the party we usually host with all of our family and friends, but it was just as sweet!
So, we extend our deepest of wishes of health, hope, and happiness for 2021. Cheers!
