Summer isn’t complete until you’ve seen the Summit Players performing in the Wisconsin State Parks. And this isn’t your 9th grade english class Shakespeare. This is laugh-till-you-cry, clap- cause-you’re-happy Will.I.Am Shakespeare.

You absolutely need to go and see the Summit Players if you’re in or near Wisconsin. They have partnered with the state parks to bring free Shakespeare to children and families, coupling shows with workshops intended to bring Shakespeare to life.

I had the opportunity to be a part of the founding company its first year with some dear friends. It was one of the best experiences of my life. This group is truly a treasure of Wisconsin, and if you are lucky enough to have seen them you know what I mean. They make Shakespeare accessible and positively hysterical.

Broken legs on the rest of your run, Summit!
