We often get so caught up in the day to day that we forget to take a step back and look at all of the amazing things that have happened in our lives. I’m guilty of doing just that so I took some time to look back through the ~12,000 pictures that Kell and I shot this year and picked my favorites to share. I’ve seen a few photographers do posts like this and I’ve always loved the way they turned out. It’s cool to look back at everything that happened in the year and relive those moments once more.
2017 was an incredible year that brought many new adventures. First and foremost, we celebrated a year of marriage and eight and a half years as part of each others lives. While spending nearly a third of the year on the road for work, we were fortunate enough to spend time in 14 states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Florida and even spent some time exploring Paris and Amsterdam. We saw six of our best friends get married, shot two weddings of our own, watched the sun rise at the Eiffel Tower and over a half million blooming sunflowers. We cut down out first Christmas tree, moved to our third apartment, road tripped up the coast of New Hampshire, celebrated a quarter century, camped, and spent countless hours in coffee shops. Overall it was an amazing year and I’m excited to see what 2018 brings. Enjoy.
