Who in the world doesn’t love a good succulent? We’ve had our hands on some for a while now, just looking for the right vessel to plant them in. We decided some simple, minimal cement planters would be perfect.
We mixed up some cement and used two little tubs (one was smaller to fit inside to create the pot form), coated the sides with some oil and then let it set for about 24 hours. We absolutely loved how they turned out. Amazon sells Quikcrete and other options to mix.
Then we grabbed some soil, potted those babies and now they can live forever on our windowsill.
Please cross your fingers that I don’t kill ’em.
