Labor Day and the unofficial end of summer may have passed, but that didn’t stop us from spending as much time as possible outside this weekend. The farmers’ market was calling our name. Autumn gourds and pumpkins appeared at almost every other vendor. I fought the temptation and went with some summer blooms instead. Six bucks delivered three bouquets worth. Dillon, however couldn’t pass up some fresh apple cider. Come October though, the fall decor will be in full swing. (Alright, alright maybe the last week in September…)
We love a good stroll around the capital, and ended up at Bradbury’s Coffee. In house crepes and delicious java. We checked off some things on our wedding list(how is that less than 4 months away?!), but we weren’t quite ready to head home. Field Table’s outdoor seating along the market was perfect for some early afternoon bevies. Grilled dinner, and late night drinks made for a fantastic day.
I am adjusting to full school weeks and trying my best to enjoy every bit of my time off. Fridays always feel rushed, Sundays end up feeling like Mondays. But, we love our Saturdays. Saturdays are for the boys Dills.
