We took a walk around on a Saturday afternoon and just enjoyed the city as it was in all its cloudy glory. It wasn’t particularly warm, but for Wisconsin, it was a lovely day. It is officially spring. The earth is perking up. I so look forward to fresh blooms and sunshine and brunch outside around the capital.
Madison is simple beauty. It isn’t ostentatious or over the top. The people who live here and travel here appreciate the Midwestern gem that this place is. It has so much to offer, but is so quietly proud of what a great city it is. I feel so lucky that I get to live here now.
The city is just finally thawing out from winter, and for now, I love these hazy days of blues and grays.
